GNR put out a slightly less than decent debut and then UTTER SHIT afterward, save for a few good songs scattered amongst the FECAL MATTER.

I never understood how anyone could see her as more than a novelty. Yes, she's a female rock star. So what? If you're going for bland, radio-aimed female rock antics, you're better off with Joan Jett anyway.

Can you honestly say "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" isn't a boring song? "Heartbreaker?" She's not bad, just boring.

For me, the 80s are about the continuation of good bands that started in the late 70s (Talking Heads, Van Halen, Tom Petty, The Cure, The Police, etc.) rather than anything decent that was actually started in the 80s.

Hell, not even "Heartbreaker," the better of Pat's two overplayed hits, was an 80s song.
