some kid was kidnapped the other day.
there are posters all around my town.
i personally don't think they will find her.
:(

YPrrrr

That's really scary, are they setting up added security at the school?

no, there are just cops monitoring it from time to time.
she's been missed for a few days.
and they can't get a good enough look at the lady but they think that it's someone the girl would know.
plus the police finished the ground search and hasn't found anything.

Are you talking about that child in Woodstock?

Honestly, she could have been found out by now. If not, then at least have more information on her. For fuck sakes, they have a video of her with the person who kidnapped her. Why the hell wouldn't they stop or follow her? Now they probably have people scanning that area in case she would come back. Why would she if it has been published on the news?

I know that sounds rude. But honestly, investigators should be steps ahead of the kidnapper. If they aren't, then the slower the search goes.

My condolences to her family, though.

i don't think she will be murdered though to tell you the truth.
it was probably just someone who thinks her parents are terrible so they took her to protect her.
unless it was truly a creepy person, then who knows.

From what I remember, she was 6, right?

Someone that age must be scared. It really is funny how behind in the case this can be, than say, Elizabeth Smart.

Honestly, it's tragic in both situations. But the difference is, Elizabeth Smart was 15 at the time of when she was kidnapped. She was 8 fucking miles away from her house. The people who even kidnapped her even left her alone while they went out for hours getting firewood and whatnot. Now, when you're 15, are you seriously not able to make your own commitment to just walk out the door when you have to perfect chance to? You're not that young at that age. I'd make my way out ASAP. It took 6 months for her to come home. 8 miles, 6 months. Not saying this wasn't awful, but this could have definitely been much quicker if she had just went home. I honestly think that it's plausible for investigators to slow down for cases like that. Because if you have the chance to run, and you don't, you're just wasting everybody's time.

This is a 6 year old person we're talking about. The only identity we have of her kidnapper is from a blurry video for like 2 seconds. The chances of her making her own strategy to make her way out is slim. And to just sit there and find clues when you had the chance to go full force and nail the target before something bad really happens, then that's just ridiculous.

yeah well that 15 year old girl was a fucking retard obv.
i would have peaced outta there like so fast it's not even funny.
but idk i actually think this girl will be okay.
and yeah she is six.

do you honestly believe her kidnappers were like "okay, we're going out and leaving everything unlocked, you know just leave when you want"

ps she was 14, and it was 18 miles, not 8

18 miles isn't far.
it's called grab something and smash a window.
there are many ways the dumb bitch could have escaped.

I guess it's something we will never know everything about. I'm only using the information I've heard.

And still, 14 is still an age to know what's around you. And I'd still go 18 miles home to walk even if it took 3 hours to take. She was left alone for whatever reason and there could have been guarding. Take a chance is what I'm saying. Don't just assume that there is a trap. Because what if there isn't?

I'm not trying to sound cruel. But you have to do whatever is in your power.

i know what you mean, but im just saying i really don't think she just waited around and did nothing to help herself

and 18 miles is what, like a 45 minute drive away from your house? at 16, i don't even know how to navigate around in an 18-mile radius of my house, and i sure as hell wouldn't expect a 14-year-old to.

that's why you go to the nearest store, house, ect.. and tell them to call 911.

18 miles would be like, a 20 minute drive for me. And I don't go that much above the speed limit. psyduck;

I lack some knowledge on the imperial system (Canada uses metric). 18 miles seems like a diameter of a nearby mid-size city I live by. Basically, it's walking across a mid-sized city. I'm only guessing, though.
