I was thinking of getting a Tivo, but they're like $300 and you'd have to get an older model to get the lifetime membership shit

They got hack ones which get you every channel for Bell ExpressVu and Starchoice. educate;

Plus, if you love any channel with them, the card is bricked, so you have to deal with the playboy channel and 12 sex movie channels.

I just connect my tv's outlet to my computer and watch and record.
