MM on Collectors Edition also freezes on me. One time I was doing that really long sequence to get the Gilded Sword. I did whatever I needed to do on Day 1, and then went ahead and helped Romani out with her aliens. Got to Day 3 or something, about ready to get the sword when it froze.
