There is life on one of the moons of Jupiter or Saturn or Neptune. One of those moons has an ocean that has microorganisms in there. But as for humanoid like things, eh... well, the universe is huge, so anything is possible.

but currently we don't really have a good idea of just how rare abiogenesis is and what conditions it requires and oh yeah there's a bunch of other molecules and compounds that behave similarly to dna and rna and all that jazz so who knows akudood;

Have you guys ever heard of extremophiles? They're bacteria that live in extreme conditions, such as high radiation, extreme temperatures, etc. They are the proof you need that life can be found throughout the universe. Life as we know it? I don't know about that. Maybe.
