The use of microbubbles and a contrast-enhanced ultrasound system has been shown to possibly help treat cancer, providing a safer and non-invasive way to deliver genes. The aim of my proposal is to use microbubbles filled with cell-specific vector DNA to treat various types of cancer such as pancreas cancer by bursting the bubbles via ultrasound when in the designated area, such as the pancreas, allowing the gene to be able to enter the cells more easily and more efficiently. Contrast-enhanced ultrasound microbubble destruction looks like a promising way to treat cancer through gene therapy.

have to stretch this into at least 1600 words, due tuesday

i did all of my other homework today, so it appears it's only this left and it's gonna take me forever
