Agreed, it wasn't bad, just not as good as most of the other games. I thought most of the music was okay, a lot of it was even amazing, but one thing I disliked was that most of the ares just had a variation of the main Hyrule Field theme. Also most of the dungeon music sucked (although it's been like that with almost every Zelda game since Wind Waker).

I agree with Arbiter's Grounds, that place sucked until the boss. Where were the Gerudos? saddood;

Yeah, dungeon music has for some reason always been lacking in Zelda games compared to the rest of the soundtracks...not sure why. I guess because the whole "gloomy" feel doesn't come off as very interesting most of the time. I love the music in the Earth Temple in WW, though. But really, WW has my favorite soundtrack overall when it comes to Zelda games.

Wow, Zelda fans are really nitpicky over little things. None of those things really affected the overall experience.

Tear Collecting: Not that big of a deal, you only had to do it like 3 times and they were pretty much given in a linear fashion. If you are going to cry over little fetch quests like this, why do you play Zelda at all?

No voice Acting: No one expected any, reading some text never killed anyone, again, this should have been expected. I do not believe Nintendo has ever released a game with full voice acting.

Lack of side quests: The main quest was long enough, and if you wanted some added challenge, hunt down those bugs and poe ghosts.

in-depth character development: Link and Zelda are pretty much static characters as it is, not much can drastically be done with them unless Nintendo would like to finally admit that THERE IS NO ZELDA TIMELINE.

Too easy: Seeing as TP had some of the nicest dungeon designs (Sky city and Twilight Palace are amazing), I thought the bosses were at an appropriate difficulty level. I cannot honestly say that any of the bosses in OoT are that much tougher than those in TP, seriously.

Wolf Link: I liked the new change of pace, and combat with the wolf was kind of fun.

And speaking of OoT bosses/Oot's difficulty in general, of course it was tougher, we were much younger ten years ago when we first played it. I would not go as far as to say TP is easily accessible, but for the new generation of Nintendo fans whose first console is a Wii, TP is at an appropriate difficulty.

I actually thought the dungeon designs were overall sort of boring. The water dungeon was the only one that I thought had a really cool gimmick to it. Arbiter's Grounds and the first dungeon were unbearably boring, the mines had a cool gimmick but it was too slow and dull to be all that fun (magnetic walking), etc. The Temple of Time was pretty cool and a nice bit of nostalgia at first but ultimately seemed to me to be the 2nd easiest (after the first dungeon) temple in the game because it goes by extremely fast (and Araghoma is a TERRIBLE boss).

That sky temple and the twilight palace...eh, well, the sky temple is fairly cool, yeah. But the twilight palace is just boring. It may look cool but that's all it's got going for it at all.

va still should have been included, it would have greatfully benefitted the story. wolf link was a retarded gimmick, wasnt horrible but it wasnt fun either. tears of light collecting was horrible, and it made me want to stop playing everytime i came to it, it was boring,drab, and slow.

and yes you're right text never hurt anyone but jesus fucking christ voice acting is so common now a triple AAA nintendo release like zelda which is intended to be an epic adventure should have it
