Well I'm going to 7th grade and I already have a taste of their latest social ranking system.

Jocks and almost any girl that's slim, big-breasted and gossips
Popular hispanics who have a boyfriend or girlfriend
Popular whites who have money
popular asians who hang around and try to be gangster
Popular blacks who pretend to be hispanic
people with all the "news"
people who try to hang with anyone popular
people who secretly hope to be popular
nerds
people who are just normal people and don't really care
people who are slaves to the popular
unsocial kids
"mentally retarded people"

I'm more of the people that are just dull and nothing, but my friends will probably drag be up popular and they'll find that I'm a dull kid, and they'll probably try to make me a gangster asian that says "foo" and "dog" in every sentence. lol post your school social hierarchy

My college probably won't have much of a hierarchy or whatever since there is such a huge population... There will probably be a very simple one like:

1. Football/Hockey/Basketball players
2. Everyone else

Hiro

uh, it's kinda just like:
various groups of kids
cool kids sprinkled amongst the whole thing
anime freaks
gangsters
I don't think there's really cliques at my school, at least, not as far as I know.

Oh, but at the high school in my home town I almost went to, EVERYONE is segregated.
Hicks, jocks, nerds, band geeks, goths, etc. They even have designated hangout areas (ie The Pit (goths), Hick Hall, etc)

C.Mongler

Yeah its pretty simple:

1. Rich Whites
2. Normal Whites & Asians
3. Blacks
4. Hispanics.

My school, like all other schools in New York City, has a very different social "hierarchy".

People with friends
People with no friends

The thing is, people hang out with whoever they want, and it's not unusual for it to be interracial. If you see a bunch of blacks, if you know them well you can just as well hang out with them. It's all about friendship and acquaintances. Even during lunch, you can sit with whoever you please. You may talk to whoever you please. And unless that person hates you or something, there's no conflict. There's no "social code" in our schools.

It's all about your personality and how many people you actually know and choose to interact with.

I find myself knowing and impressing many people with my adorableness and funniness, and there are others that think I'm "weird" and an asshole. During lunch, I sit at a preferably empty table with just Paul and I--and we'd usually catch each other up with new iPhone applications, tech news, etc.

My school is pretty much the same way. Anyone can interact and become friends with anyone else regardless of race, gender, etc.

I hate almost everyone in my school. Paul is from my middle school, and he's the only person I can tolerate.

There are so many people that think I'm their friend, but I can't stand more than a "WHAT WAS THE HOMEWORK LAST NIGHT" with them.
