Spiderman 3 was licensed and had to be rushed so it could be released alongside the film (which equally sucked).
This gives the developers total freedom and more than enough time to craft a game that actually feels like a spiderman game.

Yeah, the new arial combat looks intense.
I rented the Wii version and it was like "Wow, there's cars driving through central park, which is just a patch of grass and a few trees sprinkled in.
And the swinging was all messed up too, NO GO LEFT! LEFT!
