I'm gonna say second generation with first generation behind just by a hair.

I started playing Pokemon games in the second generation era and I have all 251 Pokemon on my Silver version. I only used GameShark once with Celebi (I was too retarded to figure out how to use it), and everyone else I either caught, got from evolution, got from trade, or got from an egg.

The first generation is because I'm so nostalgic.
