Does anyone else know the experience of seeing a girl who you get the feeling is insecure about her looks but you find her beautiful so you look at her but you can just feel her self consciousness permeating the room?

i know the experience of seeing a girl who i know is insecure about her looks, and i've felt some of the worst consequences of that (like, her being way, way too shy and reserved in bed, making me feel like i'm inadequate or something), and told her she's beautiful on a daily basis, and have it not seem to make much of a difference
