Everytime I used to play Rainbow Road in the DS, I use Yoshi and keep getting pushed off by Rob, Bowser, Wario, DK, etc. D: It's so luck based.

I still like Rainbow Road the Wii version though, I always win. ^_^

Am I the only one here who had no trouble beating every cup with two stars?

I mean sure it takes some luck but i'm usually so far ahead the items don't even matter. The only things that are ever a problem are the blue shell and a lightning bolt since you can't defend again them.

Oh and luck has always been a big part Mario Kart. This is nothing new to the series. If you want a tip stay in second the whole race holding bananas behind you, then just wait till the comps to get a blue shell to use the computer in first as a shield so you don't get hit with it.

I always start last on purpose, then get the shell and speed up and keep it until final lap and use it before finish .
