I've got to tip my hat to Hendrix improving Dylan's All Along The Watchtower in almost everyway. Especially the singing. Jesus, I hate Dylan's singing. His lyrics are top notch but his vocals... *Shudders*

Pele

I like Cupid's Chokehold by Gym Class Heroes.  v;

Samus Aran

Dylan's vocals aren't completely unbearable, but I'm not a fan of them either. Here's some of my favorite covers:

~"Knockin' on Heaven's Door" by Guns N' Roses (original by Bob Dylan)
~"Grown So Ugly" and "Do the Rump" by The Black Keys (I dunno who did the originals)
~"Action" by Def Leppard (original by Sweet)
~"All Along the Watchtower" by Jimi Hendrix (original by Bob Dylan)
~"Cats in the Cradle" by Ugly Kid Joe (original by Harry Chapin)

And here's the Zeppelin one...this list is kinda confusing, so I'm making a seperate one for them.

~"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You" (original by Joan Boez)

~"The Lemon Song" (combination of original work, "Killing Floor" by Howlin' Wolf, and "Traveling Riverside Blues" by Robert Johnson)

~"Gallows Pole" (original artist unknown; taken from a centuries-old folk song that is usually titled "A Maid Freed from the Gallows", though musically it is most similar to the Leadbelly version of the song)

~"When the Levee Breaks" (original by Kansas Joe McCoy and Memphis Minnie)

Wrench

You guys are gonna hate me for this, but I love "Working Class Hero" by Green Day(original John Lennon)

Fireman.exe

I like the cover "Man who sold the world" by Nirvana, originally by David Bowie. Also, Soundgarden did a pretty good job on "Come Together", originally done by the Beatles.

Ah, I forgot Oasis' cover of My Generation. The fact that they have Zak Starkey know makes it oh so better.

I also forgot Oasis's cover of I Am The Walrus (The Beatles)

Karel

Frank Zappa's cover of Hendrix's Purple Haze.

What do you think of Oasis' cover of Helter Skelter? Most of the people I've talked to about it say it's horrible, I like it personally.

Forgot these covers:
Carnation-Oasis & Friends (Originally done by The Jam)
Hey, Hey, My, My-Oasis (Neil Young)

I pretty much like all of Oasis' covers.

I wouldn't say it's horrible, but if I was to make a top 50 Oasis songs, I'm not sure it would get in.

Oh definitely.

Daddy

This entire thread is full of idiots who didn't mention Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt.
