In my defense, Warhammer itself isn't that nerdy. Most of the people who play it are, but painting models and building scenery from scratch and stuff is really more akin to doing detailed woodwork and other artistic hobbies than D&D, which is purely cute storylines and d20 rolling.



Warhammer is painting figures and so is d&d for all I care.

Yes, you don't have to but most of the time they do. Warhammer isn't as much pretend but any game that isn't a sport that requires a tape measure is pretty nerdy to me.

and i suppose having little make-believe battles with your tiny little artistic figurines isn't nerdy at all
