I just wanted to comment on something that I find interesting.

Have you guys ever been really tired, almost, like basically asleep, but not totally, and you have these brief,  insanely random images and ideas?

I've been thinking those are dreams, and I remember them all consecutively like that because I am either not totally asleep, or am waking up after each.

I heard somewhere that the average dream is like 3 seconds long.

So, do we really have dreams that sporadically and frequently when we are totally asleep?

Hypnagogic imagery? befuddlement

YES.

And I just looked it up and the thing said it was a technique for lucid dreaming. If you can remain knowing you are awake during them until they become full-fledged dreams, you will be in a lucid dream.

omg im trying that tonight.
