What do I do in Final Fantasy VII when I have to go on that broken down roller coaster?

I just keep climbing up a wall and finding birds.

Check gamefaqs. I doubt many people here played and beat FFVII enough to know.

Follow it to get to Berret's old town. Then you take the skyrail.. . .. . . somewhere. I won't ruin it for you.
If you keep getting to the birds, then you shouldn't be climbing up the wall.
Also, the skyrail is slightly hard to see, so don't leave the town if you don't find it. It's there.
