I'm not noticing any differences between it and Optimum.

Go download stuff.  You're not going to notice huge changes in webpages that aren't very huge.

fios isn't specific enough it could be just 5kb/s or as fast as 30gb/s  :|

And meh, I'm not sure what exactly FiOS does as Verizon doesn't offer it my state.
