Ev training? It when you specifically train your pokemon in certain stats to make them the best you possibly can. But you can't really do that until you've beaten the game, or at least come close. Because you'll need to visit a variety of place for that.

Yeah, there's a certain cave where you get an egg for Riolu. I think that's the only one you can get in the game. Unless you trade online or something. I'm not sure though, because I haven't played D/P in months.
