If anybody actually has Wii Check Mii Out Channel, you'd see that the picture for the newest contest shows Luigi standing in front of a space background from Galaxy |:

I didn't think that it's a huge spoiler since most people don't waste 4+ hours for the hell of it, they probably want the reward of being able to play Luigi.

I wouldn't get all 120 or so stars for the hell of it, I'd look what happens if I did get all of them first.
