Same I thought it was pretty great for a book/movie game.

i /WAS/ gonna get SMRPG remastered, until Nintendo shat out those pretty restrictive guidelines for content making and hosting tourneys with their ip's
haven't bought a nintendo game since Brain Age for the Switch lol
mang this was the only game I was looking forward to but w/e hopefully it's just gonna be a remastered skin and nothing more

Technology and globalism go hand and hand. If you want to be on the forefront of technology then you gotta be global

the earth is flat you globecuck

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

bean playing totk again. Fire temple is cool but the different tracks are annoying.

Samus Aran

navigating the fire temple kinda sucks yeah, i cheesed some of it by just climbing around and using devices to fly and stuff

out of the """""dungeons""""" in totk, it was my least favorite

I accidentally beat TotK just now lol whoops

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

Ok now I officially beat TotK. Accidentally skipped to the Ganondorf fight and missed the last temple. Finished that temple up and calling it good. I have like...10 sidequest left to do but fuck it. I've spent enough time with this game and ready to move onto something else.

ANYWAY, now that it's over and the dust is settled...i liked the game. I thought the CRAFTING was DUMB at first, but once i stopped bitching and embraced it I enjoyed building and attaching shit. The boss fights were legit fun (except octoman fuck the mud). The Gerudo area is probably once again my favorite (desert areas...can they be beat?) with The Spirit Temple or whatever being my least favorite. Collecting the limbs of the bot and walking to the temple was a chore (seems like neat power but not particularly useful late game and never really bothered with it) Exploring the depths was a blast once I got that lantern armor. Likewise, sky area grew on me once I started using the flight suit. Felt really powerful towards the end when I destroyed a King Gleeok. I reckon I could extend this further and say that the game does a really good job of pacing your strength and making you really afraid of things like Linels/Gleeoks at first and then later turning those fights into ones you look forward to. The final fight with Ganondorf was 10x better than the lame BotW fight. I did nearly every temple before I fought Ganon and didn't feel too OP like in BotW.

The biggest flaws imo were....well the story is still pretty much nonexistant. What story was there was pretty forgettable. The spirit of the sages that follow you had really dumb ai (idk if there is another term for this now). The Goron dude was constantly a million miles away from where i needed him or all the sages would circle and enemy and look at him while he sliced me in two. Sometimes the rito dude would get a crit on an enemy, and his wind tunnel power I probably used the mostl. Never used the lighting ladies power at all. Fishman's bubble wasn't too useful at first until I realized 1) the zora weapons get fuckin' BEEFED when you're soggy and 2) its helpful against the heat and will cool you off when activated.

Even though I enjoyed the game...I have a feeling if you hated BotW you'll absolutely hate TotK. I almost wish TotK came out first. Feel like it's the game that BotW should have been when it was released.
