looking back this an unfair criticism because i'm mostly referring to the levels that were SUPPOSED to be really hard (the K levels and world 7), and those were the freshest in my head at the time

idk where i would rank this game in the dkc series overall since i haven't played any of them in forever (well obviously it was better thank dkc3)

skyward sword: don't worry it gets better after the first dungeon
well yeah lanayru desert is trash but i swear it improves afterwards
okay maybe the boss sucked but it definitely picks up after this
yeah okay the sandship was pretty weak but it's all uphill from here
oh right the tadpoles but seriously though it gets way better after that

only bad boss is having to replay demise over and over, and i like the sandship
tadpoles weren't that fun but i didn't hate that part
