They had USB cables back then too, and nifty two-in-one cables, which I still have one of... however, iTunes no longer recognizes iPods connected via FireWire. poppy;

Bad idea Apple, 160gbs takes forever to fill with USB. My 20gb took a long time too  psyduck;

Fortunately  there are very few people who have 160gb of media to put on their shiny new 160gb's right off the bat, and even if they do, they'd only be doing it once, and just updating after that.

Yeah, I thought of that too but it'd piss me off if I bought one of those and couldn't use it because it'd be transferring the whole night. I have 80gbs of music and around 30gbs of video (video I'd want to put on it too, music videos specifically, stuff I can watch over and over and still enjoy)

Also does iTunes have a converter for videos yet? If it does I'd so use it on my PSP  caterpie;

I wouldn't know, don't spend all my time looking up iPod specs  powerofone;

Whateva, if I ever get a huge hard drive on a MP3 player like Snorkel said, I'd probably fill it op only once and add new albums every once and a while.
