I just bought a firewire cable.

It doesn't fit into my Macbook Pro.
I opened it and it doesn't fit, do you think I can still return it to staples?

Belkin 4-pin to 4-pin FireWire Cable.

Apparantly that doesn't fit in the Macbook Pro, or I'm incompitent and can't fit it in.

Yeah, you need a 4-pin to 6-pin, depending on what you're connecting.

My friend has a 4pin to 8 pin, do you think I could use that?

wut r the pin numbers tho. cuz ther is a 4-pin and 6-pin that are 400 but my 4-pin doesn't seem to be working.
