No. If we can't take care of Earth imagine what we'll do to another planet? I say we continue what we're doing, except for the war in Iraq funding. Also, if we can't get along amongst ourselves what makes you think we'll be able to have these "galactic wars" with other planets? If we ever have a conflict some time in the future with extra-terrestrials then all the nations would have to unite and fund for weapons that work in space.
