It seems at least every community with more than 1000 people has at least one resident crazy guy. Does your town/city/neighborhood have one of particular interest?

My town's got a guy known simply by "Ernest." He basically wanders around town all day every day, waving and talking to imaginary people. He also goes up to peoples' houses and peeks in the windows, waving and such. He doesn't seem to differentiate between imaginary and real people, because he'll often times wave to a real person and talk to them, and then promptly do the same to an imaginary person.

Also one time he came up to our house and gave my mom some donuts.  caterpie;

No, because my town has plenty of those sorts too. I mean a person who's seriously mentally ill, and well-known in your town/city/neighborhood for it.

Most of the people in my building are Jewish, because there are some Jewish Hedge Funds here, since it's also an apartment building. All I hear is crazy families screaming yiddish at eachother

 We have two. There is the friendly peeping tom all the police know about but can't catch red handed. Then there is the homeless guy with no name to gets regular meals downtown from  kind folk.
