I hate getting catalogues that want me to buy things, and I hate buying things to make myself happy, and I hate having to look for ways to make money so I can buy a car. Frankly I hate the fact that money governs life, and I hate materialism.

Oh, stuff like that. Well they work all day, cook dinner, take care of you, blahh blahh, so it doesn't hurt to help out a little, though I do admit the remedial tasks like "Get me a coke" are really annoying.. (Assuming they are your parents.)
