Problem is, a majority of people that do drink alcohol abuse it multiple times, if not regularly. Just because it may make a party "more fun" doesn't mean it should be legalized, since the thousands of deaths each year are a great price for something that's not even beneficial in any way.
Wine has been proven to be beneficial. It's an alcoholic beverage.

QuoteAntifreeze clearly states it's deadly and it does have its benefits. It's not marketed as something you can drink and be happy and jolly because of it. World of Warcraft doesn't harm people that don't play it, so why care?

Wasn't it the antibodies in wine that are good?

Also, Marijuana doesn't have to be smoked. They stuff the goodness of weed into pills now. Still easy to abuse and shit, I'm sure.

Antioxidants. Yes. A glass of red wine a day will keep the heart doctor away.

Some asian guy killed himself before an expansion of that game because he had gotten to level 60. He said he was going to sleep with the gods of Azeroth or some shit and jumped to his death. Later, the Burning Crusade Expansion came out.

I wonder how that went over?

Exercise is more than enough to stay healthy.

Evil Yoshi 85

I think it should be legalized for medical purposes.

Sure, but it can be harmful to the people around you because you could be driving and smoking marijuana and run over someone and not even know.
Alcohol has a similar affect.

Squirtlejazz

I wrote a paper on this last year. I was pro all drug legalization.

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

Why would you want to government's hand in something like weed? They would probably tax the shit out of it.

and when little johnny sees a "deadly, illegal, immoral" drug suddenly legalized on the local news, he's going to think "hay it must be okay now"
