So I took OS X for a spin on my friend's PC.

This is a copypasta from Nsider, I decided to post it here as well to get more opinions.

Yes, my friend does have PC that runs OS X nearly perfect. The only things that don't work are sound, and the graphics card doesn't have a Mac Driver so some of the effects aren't as good as on a real Mac. And it doesn't recognize that he has SSE3, and it thinks his processor is 1.5ghz instead of 2.53ghz.

I offered to give him about $100 for it whenever he builds a new PC. I can't right now because its still his main PC (He uses Windows most of the time. )

Should I buy it? I wasn't overly impressed with OS X, and I wouldn't even use it much. My current PC is much better than his, so OS X is all it would be used for. Should I try harder to get OS X to run on my rig to save myself a bit of money?

But having OS X on a PC does have a coolness factor, and some bragging rights.

I do have VMWare which I've gotten OSX to work on before, but its a bit slow.  I could try that again, since last I tried I still had a single core CPU.  Now I have a dual core.
