No, not really. As long as you remember to repair permissions about once a month, it's all good.

Also, Zack, why didn't you just use Command+Shift+4 for a screenshot? psyduck;

If you remember, to fix the start up disk you need to restart off of the OS X disk and then use Disk Utility
