I think once you get to a certain level of bike-fitness you stop perspirating so much (also depends on personal physiology and the temperature) but it's never been a problem for me.

I know lots of new agey corporations have bike locker rooms and showers though which is p cool

It's always hot and crowded in Dallas so biking is not an option. On top of that, my commute to work doesn't have bike lanes or sidewalks.

Riding on the sidewalk is also quite frequently illegal in a lot of cities
