hmm so i should probably talk to my doctor about getting some birth control then??

well they wouldn't necessarily be desirable mood changes lol

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Combined_oral_contraceptive_pill#Side_effects

though who knows, maybe they'd have desirable mood effects in men
If you're curious what those side effects are, just look at what people say about transgender hormone therapy. That's more-or-less the same thing as a man consuming those combined birth control pills.

basically, don't take it unless you want boobs

I take estrogen and I'm not taking progesterone but I want to ask my doctor for it. Those pills contain both of them.

thanks for the insight
have you observed any changes in your own mood(s) since beginning hrt y/n
and somehow it's incredibly ironic that feminizing hormones have the effect of impeding child birth in women lol

what an interesting coincidence that it's almost exactly the same steroid cocktail as is used in hrt

There was so much stuff happening in my life around that time so I wasn't really able to notice anything I could clearly attribute to hrt.

It seems all the effects I've had were very gradual and slow compared to the average, so it's even harder for me to notice changes.

but yeah my mood probably improved a bit

the part of the menstrual cycle that's known to cause irritability in some people is also the time that a woman's hormone levels most closely resemble a man's hocuspocus;

and that fluctuation is roughly related to the reason adding more female hormones can reduce the frequency and intensity of the cycle and inhibits conception

but anyways, yes, the medications that transwomen need are generally based on taking advantage of side-effects for medications that are usually intended for birth control, menopause, and high blood pressure

yes. Firehouse is only okay if you eat it there. They steam the sandwiches so if you take it to go it will be soggy and disgusting as fuck. Eating it there is okay but it's really expensive for what you get relative to other sandwich shops

Hiro

never been to firehouse and i'm guessing california tortilla is a dc thing
