Boogus Epirus Aurelius

I went to the Post Office today, and there was this kid who was standing in front of a glass case of stamps who kept screaming "WOAH" as loud as he could.

Anyone else remember those simpler times when we thought things were great without complaining about every single minor fault?

silvertone

I don't know. I think the stamps were all water birds.

like when you're a kid and can get obsessed fantasizing about shit within a stupid closed system of toys and consumer goods all day long?

tbh this is why i want lego dimensions

it gives me purpose to build legos

strongbad

i think about this sometimes
the more obsessive i get about one domain, the more specific my tastes within that domain are, which is the natural progression of things, but it has some sad byproducts

i hardly try new video games anymore because my tastes are stupid specific and one minor flaw will turn me off of a whole game

similarly to bicycling. i used to ride my bike all the time even if there was some kind of minor mechanical problem but now any extra noise drives me crazy and i wont bike because i "need to fix it first"

im dumb
