Left click problems

     I don't know what happened, but all of a sudden when I click on something it will open in a new tab.
i.e. Clicking on Chrome in the dock it will open the applications folder and I have to open it from there.  Any link I click online opens strait to another tab. This is very annoying and inconvenient. Does anyone know what the hell I did?

Okay, nevermind. Looks like restarting my computer fixed the issue.
