It says "Mother," not "Earthbound." And he often means the whole series when he says that. So I'm guessing that's the case. I can't imagine that it's something that only involves Mother 2.

I dunno though. Personally I'd hope for a new compilation with finally localized Mother 1 and 3.

idk i think it's definitely possible. the mother 3 fan translation was a pretty big deal that i'm sure nintendo took note of. also they keep putting earthbound characters in smash bros so i feel like it'd be silly not to get the series stateside when they're rebooting other franchises like kid icarus and stuff.

but there's also a big chance that it won't happen because fuck nintendo
