Also, people automatically connect solitude with loneliness. If you're by yourself, you should feel like you have to find some way to get near another person because if you're alone for spans of time, you must have something wrong with you.

That's why people feel so shitty when they go out to dinner alone or go to the movies by themselves. It's stupid.

People definitely connect solitude with loneliness and that prevents them for doing pretty much anything by themselves. I know people like that. I go to concerts/whatever alone if no one cares to go with me and have a damn good time. Other people just couldn't do that and some people go as far as to look down on you for it.

It is pretty stupid.

i also do things alone a lot- and tbh, i do feel kind of self-conscious about myself- but if i just start not to give a fuck, then i can bowl as many fucking times as i want
