Pure and absolute personal fulfillment. Using what you made to "survive". God, how satisfying it must be.

I have SEEN this. It was a WHYY documentary special a long long time ago that they showed all day for a marathon thing to raise money. And I wish now I had ordered a copy. He lived alone in Alaska for decades, and I was in awe of learning about it.

Someday, if I can find myself a woman willing to come with me, I would like to do the same.

PBS airs it every time they're doing a pledge drive.

Awesome! I'm calling next time.

On a slightly unrelated note I was just checking the TV schedule for PBS in case they were showing it tonight, and I realized that tomorrow morning they have cartoons such as Arthur, Cat in the Hat, Clifford the Big Red Dog, Sesame Street, and I am going to get high and watch all of these.

It is very interesting the subliminal messaging that goes on in these 'kiddie' shows.

i remmeber watching this guy in high school and this kid who hated the beatles (also known as a degenerate) started asking me if i thought he masturbated to beavers or some shit. I hate High school. but also his brother[the man in documentary Not the degenerate] flew in monthly or something and dropped off Food and batterries??? ?  idr ifi t was just batterries or both (i didnt wathc video u posted so i have no idea if it Contained that Info)  eitherway that guy is cool.

i don't think it was monthly, i think it was seasonally. because during the winter, he mostly stayed indoors and stuff. i remember he had a bitching log cabin, and cabinets inside with all kinds of curious things, i envied those damn cabinets.

No, but his ingenuity or skill is just amazing to watch. He turned out this great wooden spoon from a heavy block of wood.
He fashioned his own intricate door locking system out of rough lumber.

i didnt mean to Lessen The Man. he has willpower and his technical Wood Knowledge is closing in on Supreme. he is like a pioneer except not Destroying a human population at the same time.
