DEAR BOYAH: I need to obtain 12 Bauhaus/mid-century modern posters for relatively cheap by next thursday. Looking for furniture, industrial design, graphic design, and architecture. These are for the hallways of a period building that has been restored.

I am having trouble finding good ones-- no trouble finding good images, but finding prints, yeah. If boyah could help me find these, that would be super cool.

And if some boyagers with real graphic design skills want to try their hand at making a few imitation ones themselves and selling them to me through a printing site, that would work too.  giggle;

Nothing on Etsy or ebay that can be rushed?

i'm not sure where you could get large posters, unless you got lucky enough to find something on ebay or art.com. I checked and didn't see anything viable below $250.

if you want I could def make you a little series of serious bauhaus/midcentury swiss design posters, that is like My Thing. you know i could. ;)

(like this kind of style, I have folders of hundreds of period things 20s-60s for reference. it is where my arm tattoo originated also. and i know you wouldn't want them all this minimal [or if you do cool] but i just grabbed these from google image)

There are a lot on Etsy that are like "oh look at this photo of an awesome 50s teapot, BUT OH WAIT it has some dumb 90s motivational poster style phrase on it. "

I can show you some examples when I get back to a real computer. I'm going to keep looking around but if I can't find any and you can get good ones done by Monday, that would be awesome.

Oops yeah the quote was probably too long for my phone (no scrolling inside the posting box). This was hidden:

Or like this one, if each image were a seperate poster and had no text:

yeah, i could do that, except less bourgeoise and with less chairs (but still with at least one eames chair, per midcentury requisite).

a large part of it is type design, so if this ~place~ has any sort of context that could possibly translate into type, tell me.

and the size of the posters would be very necessary to know.

and if i get a plaque or anything.

The building is more of a 50s deal with original steel cabinets that have been restored to their 50s color pallets of glory.

something in the 24x30 range or thereabouts probably
