The real defining moment of my time with Scott was when he taped razor blades to the top of the monkey bars. One kid almost lost a finger. I was pulled in as a witness to the act but refused to talk.
I've never really cooperated with authority.

cut the crap we know you're scott, Horselover Fat

People would constantly infer that I was really scott, but they would mysteriously wind up swimming lifelessly in the creek behind his house. He denied any wrongdoing.

As scott aged he began dabbling in philanthropy.  He liked the pleasant rush it gave him.
He served soup at soup kitchens.
He gave away clothes at clothes kitchens.
He made lunches for the homeless at homeless lunch kitchens.
He gave away canned goods at canned goods kitchens.

He was a new person.

He drove home one evening in a drunk mood and noticed a biker taking up too much of the right lane.

Scott had only gone out for bread and toilet paper. He knew he probably shouldn't be driving but he was.
The biker in front of him was weaving into his lane. His lane.

The right side of the rusty sedan lurched as something scraped the undercarriage.
