Either you are choosing to ignore wide swathes of both Minneapolis and my life, or you don't know shit about either. Maybe you're just not opening up your eyes.

I guess if you want to blame unhappiness on Minnesota, you're welcome to, but I really doubt that's where it stems from.

Oh, and LA is less son_u

you've clearly never been to LA if you think things look just as generic there as they do here. it's completely made up of unique neighborhoods

When you move to LA things will be awesome and a whirlwind for 2, maybe 6 months.

i lived there for two years and it never got boring.

the fuck, I'm not saying anything personal?  doodhuh; I've had the time of my life in Minneapolis, I just feel like I've seen all there is to be seen and I'm ready for bigger places and new people.  I wasn't blaming anything on the place I lived, just pointing out what I thought about it

criss-crossing the country from West Virginia to San Francisco has certainly widened my vision, I'm not sure what aspiring to be like everyone else living their settled-down midwestern life has done for yours.

You guys are right. You're both infinitely cooler than I am and have a much better understanding of the world. I suppose I should just give up, start watching HBO, and move to Robbinsdale.

I'm not just some trendy goon who wants to move to LA with his hot gf to make it big, you know, I don't care about shiny pop culture shit or being where 'it's happening' or the lives of the rich and famous (it's the same shit here and there, I know that), I just want some nice weather and tacos on the corner and a dog and maybe surf a little, is that too much to ask  :(

no tacos in minneapolis  :(

Sounds like Snorkel hates 85% of the US n_u

And Minnesota sports teams are actually pretty good minus the Timberwolves and Gophers... The Wild, Twins, and Vikings are usually in playoff contention

yes I hate everyone that lives in suburbs

I don't think anyone has expected the wild, twins, or vikings to make the playoofs in many a season, gophers are probably the best. not that I care.

YPrrrr

The Twins were in the playoffs last season and the Vikings went to the NFC Championship game the year before. I have seen my favorite baseball team in the playoffs once in my entire life. I've never seen my favorite NFL team get past the first round of the playoffs. I overestimated the Wild.

And last but not least, the Gophers suck. Especially at football. They're ok at hockey and basketball, but still... FUCK THE GOPHERS

I've never been to Minneapolis but I think LA would probably be more fun. I have been to LA. However, I would rather live in SF or Oakland or even San Rafael than LA.
I have a dear, dear friend from Minneapolis she's special but she's in Phoenix now.

I try not to think about it.
///,
There are at least muy psilocybe mexicana & California budz and a lot of delicious Mexican food. A lot of ugly stucco monsters but some nice pockets of Phoenix exist and a Wright masterpiece in Arcadia.

I still like my tiny(er) midwest college town(city) with its marquee theatres and local music where you know the lead singer's name and the fact that I can spend a short time in the car and be in the woods or at the beach. I'm not sure I'd have any real desire to live in the middle of a bigger city.
