Things worth the extra time

I think it's worth the extra time to make rice in a rice cooker (washing it, letting it soak, letting it cook, and letting it steam) vs making 10 minute instant rice.


The former has so much flavor even without anything added while the latter is pretty much simply filler that must be loaded with other stuff to have some taste.
