imagine how weird life must have been before the invention of language. i mean think about how weird dreaming must have been. i mean, no one tells you that you dream because no one can tell you anything and it just happens and you have no idea what is going on. and you have no words to anchor your thoughts to help create an understanding of what going on so you just accept is as something that happens even though you have no grasping concept of why this is happening. it just is and that's how you live your life.
