Why do girls like ass hole guys ??

So i've been at college for 4 days now, and what i have noticed way to frequently is that EVERY girl is following around all these douche bag guys. You know the ones who slept with every girl at their high school?

I just want to discuss with others what you think makes girls tick and do things like this.

Guys like stereotyping other guys as douchey, because it simplifies the power structures inherent in and consequences of masculine power-jockeying, and guys like hyperbolizing the number of girls with said douches, because it's a way to take the blame off their own sense of insecurity and place it in the hands of someone who may or may not be worthy of the title.

I think i didn't put my correct thoughts into the OP,

What im saying is, is why do girls take a look at the guy, who OBVIOUSLY has no care for their personal feelings and just continue to throw them selves at guys like that?

I'm not speaking out of ill will but out of watching my friend just drop obvious hint after obvious hint to this girl to leave him alone. And she won't she keeps begging for his attention while full well knowing he does not give one shit about her in any way shape or form.

'assholes' tend to have a very aggressive narcissistic, manipulative nature coupled with impulsiveness and irresponsibility.
the narcissism tends to create this aura of superiority that immerses the asshole's personality with an alluring, exclusive veil.

because the man's made himself exclusive, this causes the woman to feel somewhat 'restricted'. she no longer possesses the subtle ability to penetrate his persona nor have the customary luxury of having the man reveal himself to her. the restriction of her instinctual feminine techniques swell up motivational urges, which sometimes tend to be very emotional and irrational, until they are released. (via digging deeper in the man's psyche to figure out who he is)

besides the man's superiority, he also possesses impulsiveness and a lack of control--characteristics that eclipse with the primitive, instinctual human. these characteristics lure in the suppressed, instinctual animus of the female in which she can find raw passion and creativity. a regular man, jmv for example, would possess a more 'conventional' demeanor. but conventionality doesn't always have a symbiotic relationship with man's primitive nature. to adapt to a civilized world means to restrain the influences of the unconscious, and thus start to lose their instinctual nature until they become neurotic and overdose on celexa.

assholes--like selkie and RTF--are in tune with their instinctual nature...radiating health, originality, and excitement. ironically, as suppressive as society can be, such traits are bathed with praise. this brings us to socks' post--because of the man's superiority combined with their group's praises, their exclusive intimate attention becomes gold in the woman's eyes. and because the man's now considered a 'trophy', imagine the amount of esteem/praise the woman would receive if she successfully tames the wild beast! she believes her love will help heal the wounded spirit of the asshole--she's more interested what the asshole could become, rather than what he already is. of course, this usually comes coupled with a dependency issue where she cannot leave him (habitual, rather than love) and drawn to the male's characteristics that she herself lacks.

me86s usually do this shit--minimization of others along with exaggerating their 'kind' characteristics protects their fragile egos. it makes them seem 'better' than the rest, when they're really not. since they believe their friendliness and loyalty is such a valuable trait, they expect someone of high quality in exchange.

if denied, they'll overreact and call them a stupid bitch or whatever for rejecting their 'eternal loyalty'
