I may have been retarded but at least it was really fun at the time. :'(

I'm sure this thread has been done plenty of times before, but still: ITT your favorite memories of Nsider.

My favorite memories are:

1.) The Legacy Systems board, which at one time housed my massive Chrono Trigger discussion thread, which Terrisus1 was an active participant in before he became a Sage and then a Mod. Even more important, though, was the "BKDKDT," the Banjo-Kazooie/Donkey Kong Discussion Thread. This thread was massive, and through it I became good friends with the users PRINCESSJINGALING (lol) and MALONSOCARINA. The latter unfortunately turned into a rather bad "friend" later when his clingy/depressive (and often suicidal) tendencies led him to forcibly part ways with me because he didn't like Hensa. The former was just a good friend, and she even drew me a picture of a Kutlass (from DKC2). She was the thread's resident artist. Lastly about this board...it's where I met Lawlz, although I didn't know who the hell SAMUSATTACKS was at the time. I bumped into him because we both tried to create a Kirby discussion thread at pretty much the same time. He was kind of...illiterate back then.

2.) Gender confusion. It was weird, sure, but I can't say I minded all the arguing over whether I was a girl or a boy. Things like my name (Kazooie before Banjo, if you can call that evidence), my posting style, my obsession with Presea and pink in general, etc. were considered evidence for my girl-ness, apparently. I never argued with it. Someone even put me in a fanfic as a girl, which was pretty funny, being described as some haughty, green-eyed brunette beauty and all. Then of course there were the in-chat "marriage" fights with me and Silverhawk and then later me and Noriega. Those were fun. Chatting in general was fun but I didn't do it all that often.


I may not have been a real popular Nsider, and I may not have been there all that long (I was only there for about a year and a half before it closed, I think...maybe a little longer), but I did have a lot of fun with it still.

Even though the userbase is largely retarded, it would be nice to have an official Nintendo forum again. You know, to talk about vidya games. And troll.

I don't think anyone remembers me from NSider, even though I made it to Mr. Saturn. I was usually on Wii, DS, or Power On.
I made a Mario/Luigi fanfic once, I think it was mildly well-received.
Good buddies were... legendarycat, n64something, 2 kids i still kind of know, a-kun, s1lverhawk, and uhhhhh...
I remember you and JMV and Felt and I think Clucky though :'(

I joined in early 2005, (even though i had a nintendo.com account since '04) but I always felt like I was part of it's downfall.
