It allows anyone to scan and listen to a short-wave receiver.
Some interesting things can be heard. What can you find? At 7145.17 kHz there was a conversation in English with someone named Alex from Northern Italy. Supposedly it was a civilian flight. Also, there is a lot of Morse code, too. German at 540.11 kHz. Someone is saying it's German story telling. You can also find music too.

7091.91 kHz : United flight CE640
547.67 kHz AM: Jazz

There was a Scottish person having a conversation on 14160.95 kHz. It just ended though :(

You can scan on your own by clicking or dragging or can you enter the frequency. Then you can either manually change the bandwidth or click one.
