and i only cheated in the sense that i used the brazier in the center of their arena very much to my advantage lol

probably my least favorite boss in the game

i like coming back later if only because i'm then better equipped to take down the red dragon

anyway, as i feared, i hecked up and now i'll never be able to activate the tendency events in the tower of latria

welp, there's always new game+

and actually i did somehow still manage to achieve white world tendency in latria despite this

which means i still don't understand how the h*ck world tendency works, lol

world tendency goes up every time you kill a boss, a dragon (red or blue in boletaria castle), a named black phantom (but these only appear in pure black world tendency or near pure black), a primev[a]l demon (only appears in nearly pure black tendency), or an invader

your world tendency also goes up when you "resurrect" (effectively banish) a co-op blue phantom from your game, basically because it gives them their human body back, but nobody does this and it's stupid

and of course, your world tendency goes down if you die when human or you "sin" by killing a named npc that's in body form (including old king doran)

i'm just surprised that it apparently takes significantly less to get to pure white than i initially believed

i thought i'd have needed to beat every boss in any area (aside from boletaria because it has the dragons and a few other extras) to get to pure white from neutral, and so i assumed that my death in body form in latria ruined my chances for that area in this playthrough

but death apparently didn't hinder me and i got to pure white anyway even after killing only two of latria's bosses lol

sure is going to be fun wasting dozens of stones of ephemeral eyes to get to pure black after i'm done with all the pure white events, though

also maiden astrea's soul and a couple other things to make getting the platinum less painful

depending on your soul level, would you be willing to give my sorry cheating ass a few once i'm finished with everything else lol (in the very likely event that i don't end up obtaining the rarest ones legitimately)

i duped most of the materials that i actually had, but i never had pure bladestone or pure darkmoonstone. snowy gave me the +5 weapons he made with them by way of online phantom duping. i can do the same for you at some point for those, and give you materials i duped for others.
