i start college on september 9th. till then, i'll just be waking up late, going to martial arts class, maybe work (depending when i start) and whatever time i has, maybe post here or sleep. sucks that my girl will be leaving for a 11 day vacation this thursday to DR.

Third day of classes, and things are going pretty well. My Fine Arts Visual class is the only one that I think will be boring, and it still has some interesting bits.

we have some of the weirdest fucking customs here. Like yesterday, to initiate us into the freshman class, we all crossed over the bridge and got our freshman beanies (nerdyest/most awesome hats ever, I swear). Back in the day I guess Freshman were reqcuired to wear them along with a tie that was either grey or marroon. The color of which tie they had on depended on the flag that was flying that day, and sophomores chose which flag to put up. And sometimes they changed it halfway through the day just to fuck with everyone.

And there's a really fucking scary sculpture thing of a bronzed goat head (the head is realistic and the right size and everything) attached to a teeny bronze goat body. If we fairly steal it during a game or something, we get our class engraved on it. Don't particularly care though.

Also, I've been eating really healthily, but I can see where the Freshmen 15 would come from now. Seems like people are forcing me to eat 3 meals a day, which I NEVER do. The on-campus restaurant/pub is where I'm supposed to spend 2 of my 14 meals a week and the portions are fucking GIANT. Easily 3 times the size of my stomach.
