I got my new laptop today!

Now how do I go about transferring my music library to it? Also, how can i put iTunes on it?

Daddy

You download iTunes and install it, that's how.  akudood;

That is your current library saved in? iTunes?  How large is it and what is each type of computer?

its about 30GB. This comp is gateway, laptop is dell.

Current library is saved in iTunes, but also just saves in a folder in my external hard drive. So idk if I should just hook up the hard drive to my laptop...

Daddy

Uh, just copy the folders over and export your library and import it into iTunes on the new computer.

ya windows. what is ftp?

File Transfer Protocol.

Though if you're running Windows, using an ethernet crossover might work too.

Or just windows sharing.
