I - in the least sarcastic way possible - distinctly remember seeing emos as an 11 year old when I started hanging out at the esplanade. And then all of those kids started going to local shows and listening to folk and now we're still not friends and everybody changes.

Because I'm pretty sure there's hardcore emo, hardcore punk, hardcore goth, hardcore.. pretty much any style you can think of.
