This article got me as I read it with this excerpt that also quoted by the author :

I don't understand a lot or that I know a lot as I am right now but as far as I'm concerned, I think the root of the problem is ego. Wars, racism, terrorism, corruption, etc... all are effects of egos, or well, evil egos.
