I thought life was pretty interesting when my parents got a divorce.

Though I know a lot of people have been hurt deeply because of a divorce, it doesn't happen to everybody.

Well, this really sucks. Really sucks. My stepdad left us. Why couldn't they just get a divorce? Here's what happened:

Mother: I'm not sure how we'll be able to make it these next two weeks...

Before she even finished her sentence...

Stepdad: I can't believe this. I'm leaving you, Pam.

Then he went into how it's going to happen, who was getting what. He planned this whole thing. Then, he left.

Hope he dies.

I think an even worse time was less than 4 days before your high school graduation.

That's not particularly uncommon.  You can't expect them to stay together until the divorce is final.  If one of them has somewhere else you go, you can usually expect them to do so.
